Mert Damlapinar has been a VP of Marketing & E-Commerce, an E-Commerce Digital Director, a Director of Sales, and a Business Development Executive. He is an experienced eCommerce, Sales and Marketing leader with demonstrated experience in the CPG and food and beverage industry achieving profitable opportunities, globally driving growth in the CPG and biotech industries. He has multicultural corporate and business development experience in the U.S. and EMEA markets. He founded 3 start-ups in eCommerce, CPG and SaaS consulting services, with two successful exits.

 

He holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Business Analytics from Boston University and executive graduate certificates in Machine Learning from MIT and Integrated Marketing from Cornell University.

He’s currently working towards his Ph.D. degree at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

 

With extensive experience in biotech and CPG industries for over 18 years, he has traveled to more than 20 countries on 4 continents. He has won the Employee of the Year award (2005) and Best Sales Performance awards (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014).

Mert completed his bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology at Hacettepe University, he holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Business Analytics from Boston University. He continued his studies in Integrated Marketing at Cornell University and in machine learning at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

 

Mert was selected Most Scoring Player in college sports for 4 consecutive years. He has climbed the Great Wall and survived many yacht races and polo games. He is a fan of New York Giants, New Jersey Devils and Galatasaray. He and his wife Azita share their home in Manhattan with an Italian Greyhound, a Lionhead Rabbit and a lifetime collection of books.
